Cangrejos Beach

Just ten minutes by car from Paita City, there is Cangrejos Beach.
This is a pacific, almost lonely place where you can go to enjoy sea, sand and sun.
However, waves are so high and strong, so only if you’re an expert swimmer, can get inside them.
Cangrejos name comes from crabs that are over the shore.
It has a restaurant and a hotel, where running water is restricted, although facilities are OK.
To get Cangrejos, you have to go to Yacila, and a sign in the way leads you toward this place.
If you don’t have car, you can go to Paita, and get transportation in its market. It costs 1.50 dollars to the most. Hotel is about 10 dollars per night/person.
So if you prefer go camping, this is a good place and option.
This is mostly lonely everytime, except Sundays, when lifesavers service is also activated.
Shore extension is ideal to practice sports, take sunbaths and set you free.
This was condensed from CANGREJOS, Paita: where you can find more information and photos in Spanish.
